Kotaro is a midfielder for Joinville Esporte Clube in the Campeonato Brasileiro. As a #1 midfielder in Ohio and a Top-150 recruit in the nation in 2016, he played his collegiate career at the University of Louisville. In 2019, he signed a 3-year contract with Joinville.
